Locally both Jackson and Josephine Counties are seeing an improving market, a big part of it, consumer confidence. Realtor visit the site Kurt Heater says the improving economy is a huge part of it, but there is another couple factors boosting the local housing market. “Our inventory’s getting low  and the other thing was our low interest rates,” Heater said. In Josephine County median home prices are up 12.6 percent, and sales are up 11.7%. Those facts have people buying fast which is good news for sellers like Tami Hollenbeck who just put her Grants Pass house on the market.
