Local Housing Market Recovering

Locally both Jackson and Josephine Counties are seeing an improving market, a big part of it, consumer confidence. Realtor visit the site Kurt Heater says the improving economy is a huge part of it, but there is another couple factors boosting the local housing market. “Our inventory’s getting low [] and the other thing was our low interest rates,” Heater said. In Josephine County median home prices are up 12.6 percent, and sales are up 11.7%. Those facts have people buying fast which is good news for sellers like Tami Hollenbeck who just put her Grants Pass house on the market.
